PeeWee Select Program
Athlete Tracker is very excited to support a “PeeWee Select Program” this spring & early summer (2024). The high compete, high tempo program will feature top 2012 and 2013 birth year hockey players from the surrounding area and beyond. Top local players will be invited to participate in weekly practices and have an additional opportunity to be selected to compete in “High-Level” tournaments & scrimmage games this spring & early summer. The program will be limited to “36 spots, including goalies”.

Weekly practices will be led by experienced coaches with a focus on “Competition” based drills, scrimmages, “High caliber” skill work, and “Power” skating to achieve the highest level of player development.
Spring / Early Summer Programming:​

Formal, weekly practices (w/inter-squad, full-ice scrimmages) on Tuesday’s.

April 9th thru July 2nd (Weekly schedule).

Other weekly ice sessions on Wednesday & Thursday’s.

April 10th thru June 27th (Weekly schedule).

A total of 37+ “1-hour, full ice” sessions across the program (Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s, Thursday’s).

“Select” teams to compete in 4 “High-Level” tournaments in April, May, June, and early July.

Mile High Meltdown, Denver, CO (April 11th-14th).

Tahoe Blue Memorial Cup, Lake Tahoe, NV (May 24th-27th).

Mile High Cup, Westminster, CO (June 14th-16th).

Battle on the Prairie, Milwaukee, WI (July 5th-7th).

Local scrimmages vs. other programs (Dates & Times TBD).
Apparel:

All players receive jerseys for practice use and if selected to compete in one of the tournaments and/or scrimmage games: Jerseys, socks, and breezer covers.
Pricing
-
$650 per player for 37+ “1-hour, full ice” sessions across program (w/o mandatory attendance).

If selected & interested in competing in one of the tournaments and/or scrimmage games, there will be a $250 per tournament fee and a $30 per scrimmage game fee, per player. Additional travel expense (flight, hotel, rental car) not included for out of town tournaments
Selections for the respective events will occur in early Spring.

The Coaches
Kirill Proskurin
Kirill Proskurin grew up in Moscow, Russia learning the importance of hard work, skills development, and discipline as it relates to the game of hockey. At 17, he moved to Denver to join the Colorado Evolution AAA Hockey Club and was instrumental in helping the team achieve national success and recognition. While with the Evolution, Kirill was coached by the late Sergei Bautin, who played many years in the NHL and provided Kirill with many of the coaching techniques and philosophies he uses today. From 2016-2019, he played NCHA collegiate hockey at Marian University in Wisconsin, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. He later went on to receive his MBA from McKendree University in Illinois. Kirill is a master motivator in developing today’s player and providing high performance skills coaching. Kirill will be a part of the Athlete Tracker Program on Wednesday afternoons (April 9th – June 26th, 2024).
Danny Perez
Danny Perez grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey and played four years of NCAA Division I hockey for the University of Maine Black Bears. He graduated with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. He went onto play professionally in the ECHL. Following his professional hockey career, Danny was an assistant & skills coach for the University of Maine. Since that time, Danny has relocated to Denver to fulfill his passion for coaching and mentorship, both on and off the ice. Currently, he is the skills development coach for the Okanagan Hockey Colorado program and coach of their 13u team. He is also an ISSA certified personal trainer. Danny has a passion for pushing players to be their best, with a focus on skating, skills, and hockey IQ, among many other facets of today’s game. Danny will be a part of the Athlete Tracker Program on Thursday mornings (April 11th – May 23rd, 2024).
Sean Giles
​Sean Giles grew up in Colorado Springs and followed his hockey journey all the way to a NCAA Division I scholarship with Robert Morris University. He completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering and understands the importance of athletes excelling in the classroom as well as on the ice. Sean signed his first professional playing contract with the Cincinnati Cyclone of the ECHL. And continued his playing career in Europe for HC 21 Presov in the Slovakia Pro League. He is currently under a professional contract with the Fife Flyers (United Kingdom). Sean’s sessions focus on Power Skating, Hockey IQ, and Skills to provide optimal development for today’s player. Sean will be a part of the Athlete Tracker Program on Thursday mornings (May 30th-June 27th, 2024).
Bo Hanson
After a very successful Tier I career, Bo Hanson played in the USHL for the Muskegon Lumberjacks. Bo started his first three college hockey years playing Division 1 at St. Lawrence University. And continued his NCAA Division I hockey career with the University of Denver and Northern Michigan. Following his collegiate career, Bo signed on to play pro hockey in the AHL (Iowa Wild) and ECHL (Iowa Heartlanders). He is currently playing professional hockey overseas with the Aalborg Pirates (Denmark). Like Sean, Bo’s sessions focus on Power Skating, Hockey IQ, and Skills to provide optimal development for today’s player. Bo will be a part of the Athlete Tracker Program on Thursday mornings (May 30th-June 27th, 2024).

All respective registrations must be approved and full payment for the 37+ “1-hour, full ice” sessions across the program must be paid by Friday, February 23rd to secure your spot. Once registered and accepted to the program, you will be sent a message from TeamSnap to pay in full for the 37+ “1-hour, full ice” sessions across the program.
Tournament and Scrimmage Team(s) selections will take place in early Spring. If selected, you will be notified of your selection and provided additional details on confirming your respective spot(s) at that time.
